THE CLUB. was born out of a shared passion for true wellness and the desire to create something deeper than just another Pilates studio. Founded by mother-in-law and daughter-in-law duo, Diane and Chelsea, the vision was simple yet bold: to build a space that felt intentional, personal, and completely grounded in the true Joseph Pilates method. Not trend-driven. Not high-volume. But a studio where movement has meaning and intention, community has depth, and every client is known and valued.
As conversations around burnout and the relentless pace of modern life continued— and as Chelsea navigated the life-changing transition into motherhood in September 2024 — the need became clear: people are desperate for a place to slow down, reconnect, and prioritise their well-being in a fast-paced, demanding world that rarely allows space for it.
With Diane’s 16 years of Pilates experience and Chelsea’s background in business and marketing, the dream became something tangible. Supported by their family, with Chelsea’s fiancé Garrick helping build the studio after hours and on weekends, newborn baby in tow, and Kathleen, Diane’s daughter and Chelsea’s sister-in-law, stepping in as Studio Manager, THE CLUB. was shaped quite literally by the hands and hearts of the people who call each other family.

It is more than a studio; it is a family-built, family-run space created with love, commitment, and a personal responsibility that extends to every client who walks through our doors. Diane is a dedicated Pilates Instructor with over 14 years of teaching experience.
All her training and educational workshops have been completed through a STOTT PILATES Licensed Training Centre and include:
• Matwork (Essential through to Advanced)
• Reformer (Essential through to Advanced)
• Functional and Applied Anatomy
• Special Populations, including pregnancy and rehabilitation
In addition to the above training, she has completed numerous STOTT PILATES workshops focusing on specialized equipment such as rollers, barrels, Bosu etc.
Diane stays informed of the latest trends and continually updates her knowledge to align with advancements in Pilates science and methodology.
Diane has a strong background in health and fitness and is passionate about ensuring the correct execution of the Pilates repertoire by applying the core principles of anatomy.
With her extensive knowledge in health and wellness, combined with her ability to motivate clients, we are confident that with commitment and dedication, clients will achieve their fitness and wellness goals.
Robyn is a Pilates instructor with a background as an occupational therapist. She is passionate about helping people connect with their bodies and personalizes each session to align with her clients’ unique goals and abilities.
Robyn blends expertise with intention, focusing on control, precision, and mindfulness. Her teaching style challenges both the mind and body, encouraging strength, resilience, and a meaningful connection to movement.
